Hades is a true example of "less is more." It doesn't offer you an open world, endless long levels to fill your hours, or an endless list of tasks and missions... none of that. Instead, it focuses on carefully limiting its scope and placing emphasis on perfecting every tiny detail of what it does.
The Flair: F
Words fall short in describing its spectacular technical aspects, from the overwhelmingly charismatic character designs to the epic and phenomenal soundtrack and voice acting. Every single section has been meticulously polished down to the smallest detail... and it's absolutely mind-blowing.
The Feel: F
We’ve all had that feeling while playing as kids, were you just can't put the controller down. In the case of Hades, this is a constant, thanks to its vibrant gameplay, which is a perfect and exquisitely addictive formula that you can’t stop thinking about even after long sessions. The satisfaction of combat with different builds, how rewarding the game is in letting you experiment with new skill synergies, and the delicate but fantastic progression between runs... there’s nothing, absolutely nothing, that isn’t perfect. Additionally, it has the merit of incorporating notably deep mechanics.
The Fuel: F
From the moment you see Zagreus emerge from the Pools of Styx for the first time (not knowing it will be the first of many), the game captivates with its content, its details, and its fantastic references to mythology. The story, while relatively simple, is excellent and perfectly integrated with the gameplay, and the characters are incredibly charismatic. Additionally, the level and enemy designs synergize perfectly with the gameplay, enriching the formula at every moment. If there’s one downside, it might be that the endgame could have a bit more incentive, but it remains fabulous regardless.

Conclusions
At Fouttaf we are very cautious when it comes to calling a game "perfect," but Hades is simply a delight—a masterpiece that serves and will serve as a benchmark for the genre and for video games in general for many, many years. A masterpiece is always a must, but in this case, we are very confident that no matter what kind of gamer you are, it’s extremely unlikely you won’t enjoy this title like a little kid.
