In technical terms, it certainly was ambitious to bring such a game to a hardware like the PSP. As for the game itself, it's a smaller and more compact God of War experience.
The Flair: F
It may not reach the lofty standards of its PS2 older brothers, but it's astonishingly close. By handheld standards, it's a technical marvel.
The Feel: E
As usual with God of War, the gameplay is outstanding. The controls and game feel on the PSP are phenomenal. Just be prepared for moments when you'll be squinting at tiny enemies from a distance.
The Fuel: D
The story may be short, but it offers an interesting and emotional glimpse into Kratos' past. The level design and boss fights might not be the most epic or memorable in the saga, but they're still excellent.

Conclusions
God of War: Chains of Olympus is another outstanding entry in this legendary franchise. The handheld format fits the gameplay like a glove, and the PSP's technical capabilities shine their brightest. While it may seem skippable within the main God of War arc, it's definitely a must-play if you missed it back in the day. Don't sleep on this one!
