Dimension: 6
Pretty large for a racing game, with quite a lot of circuits and, most importantly, the challenge of implementing a new concept of racing.
The Flair: D
The SNES' Mode 7 is showcased very nicely in this title. The graphics are reasonably simple but perfectly suit the futuristic setup. The soundtrack is also astounding, carrying the adrenaline through every track.
The Feel: E
This game is a treat to play. The sense of speed and racing is exhilarating. Although there aren't many in-race mechanics, it’s just excellent.
The Fuel: D
Nice circuit design, the ability to drive different styles of cars, and a very competent AI make for the perfect cherries on top of an already succulent pie.

F-Zero accomplished everything the SNES needed for a launch title. It's direct, compact, and incredibly fun while setting the precedent for futuristic racing games. A must-play for anyone who fancies the genre.
