In terms of size only, the game is already large and ambitious. To be honest though, it seems to us that the most challenging part of developing this game back in the day had to be the fact of delivering such a new approach for a strategy title, which gameplay that was both easy to understand and challenging to master.
The Flair: D
Although the visuals are not very detailed, they are pretty decent. But most of all it's the amazing soundtrack and the well-acted FMV story sequences that deserve praise.
The Feel: E
The gameplay and mechanics are so exceptional that are fun even for those who don't usually like strategy games. They are simple but at the same time engaging and rewarding, and although it may be very difficult at some points, the challenge is perfectly measured as well.
The Fuel: E
The game features an amazing amount and quality of content, with two different factions and their corresponding campaigns. There could be a bit more of variety between the two factions and their units or buildings, but they are very well balanced.
Outstanding
92
Classic Score
Conclusions
Command and Conquer is an outstanding title that represents one of the RTS most significant milestone. With its straightforward addicting gameplay and its bountiful single player campaigns, it definitely is one of those games that never gets old
