Dimension: 5
Although the game is short and can be beaten in 20 minutes, each level is carefully crafted and contains a fair amount of small details.
The Flair: 9
Not the strongest aspect of the game. Neither the overly pixelated graphics nor the repetitive sound themes are particularly good.
The Feel: D
Alien Brigade was one of the first light-gun games for home consoles, and it's really a blast to play, even so many years later. Its frantic gameplay deserves a lot of credit for that.
The Fuel: B
It's nice to have the pre-mission briefings; they may be short and silly, but they add to the experience. Besides that, the levels and enemies are varied enough to keep the player's interest.

Classic Score
Conclusions
Alien Brigade is one of the few exclusives for the Atari 7800, and fortunately, it's also a very solid game. If all aspects of the game matched the quality of the gameplay, it would undoubtedly be a true gem. Sadly, neither its outdated visuals or its unremarkable story and content are on a par with it.
